I had fun with this book. It’s a cool story with an interesting mix of sci-fi and magic set in an interesting world.
Q. E. (short for Quantitative Easing) is a crazy ass game where you play a country offering bailouts to companies around the world.
It starts off kinda slow, but now I’m definitely going to listen to the entire trilogy. I really dig that book is fairly dark, but the main characters still feel heroic. By the end I found myself finding excuses to keep listening, which is always a good thing.
This is a nice little game about owning towns and railroads while making money from buying and selling goods.
Sometimes you see things while your out and about in the world and think, “I should make me one of those”. That’s how I decided to start my Giant Jenga build.
My baby boy quickly when from barely moving at all to crawling up the stairs (and everything else) at full speed, which highlighted the need for baby gates.
This card holder was designed to be stackable, fit into the original gizmos box, and provide easy access to the cards during game play.
It’s honestly only ok. If you have Splendor there is no reason to own this. But it’s a decent enough game to warrant a couple plays.
A good story, but it feels like two independent stories rather than I cohesive whole. Both of the stories are interesting though, so I’ll pick up the rest of the series again at some point.
This was more of an audio play than a book.
