I’ve recently finished “Lilith’s Brood: The Complete Xenogenesis Trilogy” by Octavia Butler. I’ve been meaning to post something about these books since a friend posted about its author last month, but I kept putting it off.
I tried something new this morning. So here is a blueberry puffy croissant bake. I almost forgot to take the picture before I finish the damn thing.
Eaten August 30th, 2020 A few weeks ago I made a blueberry croissant puff for the first time and it was delicious. Turns out that recipe works with almost any fruit. So here is a peach croissant puff. The original recipe can be found at The Girl Who Ate Everything.
Today breakfast was simple. Just a Skillet made with sausage, green and red peppers, onion, hash browns, and cheese.
I had fun with this book. It’s a cool story with an interesting mix of sci-fi and magic set in an interesting world.
Q. E. (short for Quantitative Easing) is a crazy ass game where you play a country offering bailouts to companies around the world.
It starts off kinda slow, but now I’m definitely going to listen to the entire trilogy. I really dig that book is fairly dark, but the main characters still feel heroic. By the end I found myself finding excuses to keep listening, which is always a good thing.
This is a nice little game about owning towns and railroads while making money from buying and selling goods.
Sometimes you see things while your out and about in the world and think, “I should make me one of those”. That’s how I decided to start my Giant Jenga build.
My baby boy quickly when from barely moving at all to crawling up the stairs (and everything else) at full speed, which highlighted the need for baby gates.
