Just when you thought you were done…

Quick iteration at its finest.

I’ve been working with a group of people at work to build a 3d Printer.  It’s assembled, but there are still hella issues to work out.  It goes a little something like this… The filament won’t stick to the print bed.  Add glue.  Still not sticking?  Scrape off the glue and cover the bed with Kapton tape.  The bed temp is too low.  Use some cardboard underneath for insulation.  Still too low?  Wrap more insulation around the edges to hold more heat.  After all of that lunch was over, and our test print still failed…still won’t stick to the bed.

3d printer bed covered in glue with Kapton tape added for good measure.
